LawRight has on-site offices and services at Brisbane court and tribunal registries and delivers remote services throughout Queensland to increase access to justice for vulnerable people navigating complex court and tribunal proceedings.

Our strategic partnerships with law firms and barristers match pro bono assistance with the legal problem and capability of the individual.

We currently assist in the

• Queensland District and Supreme Courts and Court of Appeal
• Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT)
• Federal Court and Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia
• Enforcement Hearings in the Brisbane Magistrates Court (for debtors)
• Queensland Court of Appeal
• Magistrates Court (including Enforcement Hearings)

LawRight helps people who are involved in, or who are considering commencing legal proceedings, and who are unable to afford private legal assistance and are ineligible for legal aid.

LawRight cannot assist with:

• Family law
• Criminal law
• Native title
• Building and construction disputes
• Complex commercial disputes
• Clients who could afford to pay a lawyer, obtain Legal Aid, or obtain ‘no win, no fee’ assistance (e.g. personal injury, negligence)
