Disbursement Fund
Many clients obtaining pro bono assistance do not have the means to pay for disbursements such as court filing fees, medical reports, transcript fees or travel costs.
Using its main annual fundraiser, the Queensland Legal Walk, LawRight has established the Disbursement Fund, accessible by community legal centres, law firms and barristers representing indigent clients to pay for disbursements. The fund is managed by the LawRight management committee and director.
