QCAT hears complaints of unlawful discrimination, sexual harassment, vilification and victimisation. These matters must first be investigated and referred to QCAT by the Queensland Human Rights Commission (QHRC). 

LawRight provides assistance with some discrimination matters at QCAT through our Court and Tribunal services.

  When we may be able to help 

  • Your matter has already been through the QHRC; and
  • is about to be referred to QCAT or is already at QCAT.

  When we can’t help

  • Your matter is still at the QHRC
  • Your matter cannot be referred to QCAT by the QHRC
  • Your matter is extremely complex and would exceed our available resources
  • You can get help through Legal Aid
  • Your matter is at the Australian Human Rights Commission (For this, please go back and select ‘Federal Courts’)
