The Queensland Legal Walk will take place in Brisbane and across Queensland. Some Walks will be highly organised, such as the Brisbane Walk, others may be as simple as other walkers listing their route and a meeting place.

Please find information below on walks that are happening across Queensland:

Brisbane

7 am, Supreme Court Courtyard.

Our Brisbane Walk will commence from the Walk HQ  at the Supreme Court. Please feel free to gather from 6.40 am.

After an offical send off the route will leave south through the city on George Street, before crossing the Goodwill Bridge. The route will then walk through SouthBank Parklands, over Kurilpa Bridge and back to the Supreme Court.

Following the Walk there will be a short gathering and presentation.

Sunshine Coast

Departure at 7am, meet at the corner of The Esplanade and Duporth Ave, Maroochydore.

Gold Coast – Southport

Departure at 7 am, Southport Courts.

Walk from the courts to Southport Parklands, down to the Sundale bridge and return.

Cairns

Depart 7 am, Funship Parkland at the north end of the Esplanade. Walk will head south towards the marina before returning.

Toowoomba

Depart at 7 am from the Toowoomba Courts, heading for a lap of Queens Park.

Townsville

7 am departure, start and finish Cnr Stokes and Flinders Street

Mt Tamborine

Depart 7 am, IGA Carpark, for a great Walk in one of the most scenic locations in South East Queensland
